Abstract

This paper analyzes the contribution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology towards achieving
sustainable agriculture focusing on the balance between productivity and access equity. The research analyzes the
existing applications of AI in precision farming, climate-related interventions, and resource management optimization.
Rural equity measurements through the lens of AI tools and data analysis were employed as part of a mixed-methods
strategy. The results suggest that AI not only improves yield and efficiency, but also increases the risk of a digital
divide. The particular concern of this study is inadequate policies that govern the allocation of AI resources aimed for
development. This paper proposes strategies for the development of technologies in agriculture that support
sustainable development goals on the basis of fair social distribution of advantages.
